Surgeon's much sought after Pet 2000 12" is given the reissue treatment on his own bespoke reissue label SRX. A crazed vision of mutated robot animals, Surgeon's The titles are appropriately menacing: 'Badger Bite', 'Electric Chicken' and 'Reptile Mess' evoking visions of psychotic, deformed monsters. While the title was inspired by an actual pet shop in Nottingham, the results were very much a product of Anthony Child's own insight and vision. As essential now as it was two decades ago.
